2024 League Coach

 

The Baldivis Football Club are extremely excited to announce that our League Head Coach for the 2024 season is Craig Otto.

Craig joins us from the Peel Cavaliers Colts program, where he has enjoyed success in his last two seasons, winning the Country Week Colts carnival in both 2021 & 2022.

Craig has an outstanding Football resume, with over 20 years of coaching both Junior and Senior Men’s football programs, locally and at WAFL & State level.

Craig has his Level 2 AFL Coaching certificate and boasts exceptional coaching and development skills.  Under his leadership he has had over 15+ players drafted into the AFL system through his time at Peel, East Fremantle and the WA State 18’s Program.

Craig is a highly regarded individual in the Rockingham and Peel region. He has been awarded Life Membership for the Rockingham Rams and Hall of Fame status for the Peel Football League for his years of dedication and service to both organisations respectively.

The Baldivis Football Club are absolutely delighted to have Craig on board for 2023, and would like to extend out a warm welcome to him and his family as they join us this season again.

History

 

In 2006, the Baldivis Football Club officially entered the Peel Football & Netball League with our inaugural sides consisting of League, Reserves and Colts. While all sides were competitive for years, it wasn’t until 2013 the club tasted its first Premiership when the Colts won their first Flag. In 2016, the League team followed suit with their Inaugural Premiership, backing it up again in 2019 & 2021. The Reserves took out their first premiership in 2017, and then went back to back in 2020 & 2021. In 2012 a Thirds team was formed, and was entered into the Metro Football League due to fantastic growth in numbers in the Club. The Thirds were also very competitive in the MFL, taking out their first Premiership in Division 2 in 2017. Due to the continual growth in the Club a Fourths team was formed in 2018 and played in the MFL Division 2, as the Thirds entered Division 1. In 2019 the PFNL introduced a Second Division competition that allowed our Thirds & Fourths teams (now known as Red & Blue) to play local Football. This also mean that for the first time ever, we would have a Baldivis Derby, with the Blue team taking out the inaugural match.

The Next Chapter

 

During the 2020 season, the decision was made that Baldivis Football Club would transition from the PFNL to the Perth Football League. Due to substantial growth in Club numbers and the exciting prospect the PFL had to offer, The players were thrilled with the decision and welcomed the new challenge. This was an exciting time for the club and has helped promote growth, strengthened our club, and has helped pave a pathway into the future for our current and next generation of Junior and Senior players.

A Family Orientated Club

 

The Baldivis Football Club is a family orientated club and always welcomes new members and their families to the club. If you are looking to play football at the highest level locally and are keen to improve your skill set, our Club can accommodate to all of your needs. If you just want to have a kick on the weekend or work FIFO, our lower graded teams will happily accommodate your requirements. Or if you plan on pushing for our B Grade League team, we can provide you with all the training you will need to get yourself there.

Training Days

 

Our Senior Program Train at 6:00 pm on Tuesdays & Thursdays every week during Pre-season and the Season. All trainings are conducted at our new Facility, The Baldivis Sporting Complex, which is located on Eighty Road.
