2024 B Grade Coaching Update
The Baldivis Football Club is proud to announce that our new B Grade Women’s Head Coach for 2024 will be Stephen Markham!
Stephen is a massive addition to our club and our Women’s program, having been instrumental in the WAFLW program at Peel Thunder from 2016 to 2023.
Stephen began as the Rogers Cup Coach for Peel Thunder in 2016 and guided the girls to back-to-back premierships in 2018 & 2019.
Following on from his success in the Rogers Cup, He stepped into the Head Coaching role for Peel’s WAFLW League team in 2020, and served a 4 year stint at the helm. In those 4 years he was able to revolutionise the program, guide many young women on to the AFLW and coach the League team to consecutive premierships in 2020 & 2021.

2024 Reserves Coaching Update
We are proud to announce that Brad Moore will be the head coach for our Women’s Reserves team in 2024!
We are so excited to have Brad on board as he joins our current B Grade Women’s coach Stephen Markham. Together they will be the driving forces at the helm of our Women’s program this season, as it evolves from one team into two!
Brad himself had a decorated footballing career, Playing for over 20 years across numerous leagues such as the SANFL, SAFA, LCAFL and TAFL to name a few. He made numerous representative teams over his duration, most notably with Central Districts, and won 3 premierships in a row whilst playing for the Albatross Football Club from 95-97.
It was in the TAFL where he found his niche for coaching, playing as Captain/Coach for his side for 3 years, managing to lead his team to Runners up in 01 & 02. After a break to focus on his career, he found himself moving West. After worked rurally in Albany & Kalgoorlie, plying his trade in a few masters leagues, he has found his way to Baldivis, and to our Football Club where he has stepped up to Coach our second Women’s team!
We are extremely thrilled to have him step forward this year and lead our Girls!
It’s going to be a massive year down at The Stables for our girls, and we encourage any more Girls who are keen to have some fun, have a kick and meet new people to sign up and join our wonderful program. The more the merrier!
The first Women’s team
In 2018, we saw the introduction of our first Women’s team into the Peel Football and Netball League after a few years of strong form from our Year 11/12 Girls sides.
Our Women’s team reached finals in the 2018 and 2019 season, showing quickly they were a capable group full of young talent. Since then, our women have continued to improve year after year, and recently we had our first 3 women feature in their 50th games for the club! Tia Webb, Chloe Owen & Brooke Davey make up the trio of milestone women.
Our women currently feature in the B Grade Competition of the Perth Football League.
